I must be psychic

25 January, 2010 (20:14) | Sandra

Saturday night: I dream that I have found my DS broken. So I wake up on Sunday and have a small “glad that was just a dream” moment and start pottering about.

While pottering, I decided to rearrange my CDs, because I will have more space if I stack them on top of each other. As I am doing this, I knock the DS (and the Gameboy SP for that matter) off the shelf and my dream comes to life. There is the DS, broken on the floor. Various thoughts run through my head such as ‘bollocks’, ‘what a coincidence’ ‘how upsetting, not that I ever go on it much’ and ‘hang on actually that couldn’t have been a coincidence it’s too weird.’

I always get de ja vu, and I’ve often thought, “I’m sure I’ve dreamt this before” when something happens, but never something so vivid. Either I am a God, time is a wheel (I have my suspicions) or my brain is messed up if I actually sub-consciously did that because I love the thing and the thought of trying to fix it saddens me. :( I’m not very handy.

So many dresses, so little Geld :(

I wish I was rich/comfortably well off. Ema does not sustain my needs.

Just for one day I would like to spend money without caring about costs. I mean, Christ almightly I am so tight with my money but I still get back statements saying “Gone in: £120 Withdrawn: £140″. My hard earned money is slowly drifting away from me! :(

Maybe I should get a job. Although I struggle so much to keep on top of work as it is that I don’t know if I could cope (also be arsed writing a CV).

My hopes for the year ahead

4 January, 2010 (00:46) | Sandra

Forget resolutions, I’d rather think of things I’d like to accomplish this year.

1. Push the gold statue man off his box. I think this everytime I see him. I doubt I will ever do it, it’s so cruel, but I’m intrigued to find out how he’d react…maybe I could get someone else to do it.

2. Blow a party blower in a bouncer’s face. Last year, I was able to fulfil my dream of shouting “I’m 22!” in a pissed off tone at a bouncer when getting IDed (it worked), so this year I’d like to expand on that.

3. Get into University. I cleverly picked the same course in every Uni, 4 of which require the same entrance requirements - ABB.

4. Successfully steal a pitcher glass from a pub. I almost managed it the other week but was forced to leave it outside another place and on my return it was gone. :’(

5. Do a picture using chalk & charcoal. It’s been too long…

6. Change the sites layout. Not holding out much hope for this one though.

7. Not get swine flu. I survived Swine 09 so let’s hope my luck continues.

8. Not get AIDs.

Hope that didn’t turn too resolutionish towards the end then.

Happy New Year!

*Crawls out of the woodwork* Why hello there my dears! It’s been 5 months since my last post you say? Well so it has! I’m not even going to bother and defend myself. Yeah, I have lots of work to do - A levels and blah, blah - but to be honest I don’t do busy. It doesn’t suit me.

So how have I spent these last months? Mainly getting drunk (never alone though, because drinking alone looks depressing). I think if I continue to drink the way I did last year, my liver will die.

Well er yeah I didn’t actually plan to make a post now, I just sort of ended up here. I could rattle on about events (such as the pantomime I was in, Beauty & the Geek, where I played Robbie the Rubber - a boy with waist length hair and a high singing voice who was turned into a rubber) but that would require too much brain power.

So to conclude, let’s hope I don’t ignore old flyingcat quite as much anymore. ;) Ttfn.
